Stella Blues Open Mic Night
Tuesdays - 8:00pm
The Stella Blues Open Mic Night, hosted by Seth Adam, Rob Aceto, and Mike Knobloch, is geared toward supporting a live, original music scene in the New Haven area and providing a forum for aspiring performing songwriters of all levels of ability.
Each week, the Seth Adam Trio (consisting of Seth, Rob and Mike) kicks off the night at 8:00pm, followed by open mic performers at 9:00pm. At 10:30pm, there is a featured performer playing for a 40 minute set. After the featured performer, the rest of the night opens to more open mic performances. Each open mic slot is 15 minutes or 3 songs - whichever comes first. Any additional set-up time and/or onstage arrangement between players will be subtracted from the performance time.
In other words: be prepared.
Sign-ups begin at 8:00pm. We ask that you adhere to the time you select to ensure a smooth-flowing, issue free evening. Please bring all necessary gear. We have a full backline with a PA, drum kit, guitar amp, and bass rig. Guitar and bass are not provided. Since the night is geared toward live performance, pre-recorded backing tracks are discouraged.
